David Moyes Could Be On The Way Out
Whether you live and breathe football like David Moyes does, it doesn’t mean you are guaranteed success when you take charge of one of the most powerful football teams in the world. After taking the reins at Manchester United, the club have been a shadow of their former selves.
With the season heading further and further south to the point where it could be far from salvageable, Manchester United may have to cut their losses with the former Everton manager and start over once more. There were factors which are out of his control, one of which being the fact that he was left with a squad with a whole host of problems.
Players could leave this summer
Yet knowing the state of the side, David Moyes was lured into taking the position at Old Trafford. One vacated by the Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson. The lack of positive impact he has had on the side, will mostly likely see a big number of key players leave Manchester United come this summer.
This will put Manchester United in one of the toughest periods in their history, as they try to rebuild a team under a manager who has failed to show his worth and is probably out of his depth. Taking charge of a side who are happy to avoid relegation and fight for a place in Europe is one thing. But taking charge of a side which should challenge for every trophy is a totally separate challenge. Sitting in the seat still warm from the memories and legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson might just be a bridge too far for David Moyes, who in his own right has been a hugely successful Premiership club manager.
