Real Madrid Plan To Take Liverpool Ace
Luis Suarez has been in the sports headlines repeatedly, for both good and bad reasons. Some he may look back on and regret, and some he will definitely look back on and be proud. There is no denying his skill in and around the goal, and this is exactly why Real Madrid are interested in acquiring his services.
The deal that could be made is not going to be a record breaker, but it has some interesting clauses. One of which will see Madrid pay £20 million for the Luis Suarez, with Karim Benzema being sent in the opposite direction.
Benzema included in Luis Suarez deal
The striker is still young at 26, if his current form and performances are to go by then he has a big future and it is why all the big European sides are interested. He moved to Liverpool for £22.8 million, and in financial terms Liverpool will be making a loss on the player. But Karim Benzema is no slouch, since his move to Madrid he has averaged a goal every two games. Which is very good for a player who plays in a team that likes to employ the rotation system.
This is the same rotation that many of the other sides in Europe are using, but it does mean that most players do not get the match time they would like. It also means that players who were stand-out stars at the previous teams, end up getting lost among the clubs list of international stars. This does have the effect of ruining careers, since many players require game after game to maintain their form.
Benzema has also won the award for best French footballer for the second consecutive year, and at 25 he also shows good promise and potential for the future. If Suarez does leave Liverpool, they will require a striker to play alongside Sturridge. If there is one thing you can be sure of, its not easy to replace a successful attacking partnership. Therefore, Liverpool fans will be hoping and praying they keep hold of their current number 7.
