Ronaldo To Turn Back On Real Madrid For PSG
Four years after becoming the most expensive footballer in the history of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo appears to be ready to make another high profile move. This time to French side Paris Saint-Germain. Shocking as it may seem, it could be true. The team from Paris have completed big money signings in the recent past, none bigger than David Beckham himself. With French legend Laurent Blanc managing the side, this could be a necessary move to catapult the current French domestic champions into Europe’s finest.
French lessons for Ronaldo
While the current transfer window has shut for this season, it hasn’t stopped the rumour mill from turning. And rumour has it that the Portuguese star is having French lessons. Lessons which will see the completion of a massive switch this coming summer. It is fair to assume that the money involved will be big, with the possibility of another record breaking deal involving the 28-year old.
The news will see PSG fans excited over the possible triumphs their team could realise. However, this could start another string of rumours involving Ronaldo with other champion sides. Manchester United fans would welcome his return to Old Trafford. The current league campaign has failed to ignite as the Red Devils come to terms with the new leadership. With Wayne Rooney also looking like he will leave United on a free transfer at the end of the season, the return of Ronaldo would give Manchester United fans something to cheer about, after what is already looking like a tough season in the making.
Ronaldo to end career at Old Trafford
Even though PSG are favourites to acquire the skills of the current Madrid superstar, United fans have something to look forward to. Antonio Gaspar who is the physio for the Portuguese national side has made a telling revelation that will catch the attention of all United fans. Currently Ronaldo is signed to Madrid till 2018, but he has hinted that he would like to end his career at Old Trafford.
The question is whether he will still be at the peak of his powers if he ever puts that famous number seven shirt back on. Gaspar certainly believes that he will, saying: “I reckon that, barring anything untoward, he will be at the peak of his powers even longer, until 35.” This means that United fans could be treated to something special, even though it will come after his time at PSG. If that deal is real, and if it goes through.
