Toothbrush Which Sends Information Back To Your Phone
Are you aware of how well you brush your teeth? It is a strange question by anyone’s standards, but its still a question which carries some weight. After all, you only have one set of pearly whites, unless you don’t mind a gappy smile.
However, Oral B’s new toothbrush is set to change the efficiency in which you clean your teeth, on a daily sometimes twice daily basis. With technology progressing in the rate it is currently, there will come a time when information will be recorded by the toothbrush and sent back to your dentist. It is a troubling thought, especially when so many of us have a phobia of visiting the dentist.
An internet-connected future is almost here
Oral B’s new toothbrush which will be launched in the UK this summer will cost £199, and it will send information back to an app in the users smartphone. Some of the details which will be recorded by the toothbrush will include the number of brushstrokes, and the identification and highlighting of problematic areas in the brushing routine.
This is a definite sign of the internet taking over! Technology becoming its own unrelenting monster. In all seriousness its actually a sign of our internet-connected future. The continuous flow of information which will monitor our every move, and probably turn many of us crazy as we are forced to ‘brush our teeth better’ with Oral B’s new toothbrush for example, all because we can choose to be monitored during such actions.
