Iniesta Fed Up At Barcelona, But Will Be Welcomed At Old Trafford
While David Moyes is a very experienced and robust manager, he cannot be blamed for not seeking out some of the biggest stars for his new team. His first signing for Manchester United was not one fans were excited about, but this is still not really his fault. After all he has never had the option of purchasing the very best, and this is something he will need to get used to fast.
Sir Alex Ferguson had a sixth sense when it came to new signings. Some went from being unknown to becoming very well known, and other turned into superstars. So its probably time that United made another notable signing that fans can be excited about, someone that can have the same impact as Robin van Persie.
Could Young be on his wait out
A big signing will also put Moyes in a better light among fans, and will give United the big kick up the … ahem, before the season begins to slip away. One player that seems to be on the Old Trafford horizon is Andres Iniesta. The Barcelona legend who has terrorised most teams in La Liga, and the Champions League is getting increasingly frustrated with contract negotiations.
The rumour is that Moyes is currently still pondering a move for the Andres Iniesta. A player that shares many qualities with Manchester United legend Paul Scholes. The worry is that the United manager will wait too long, and could potentially miss out on a player that is needed at United. He did the same thing with Mesut Ozil who ended up at Arsenal, and Moyes ended up settling for Marouane Fellaini.
United also have Kagawa in midfield, who is still yet to show what he is capable off. And there is a strong indication that Ashley Young could be on his way to Galatasaray which is another worry, since he is a player with potential. It is never a good sign when big clubs start selling players they purchased, with the intent of those players becoming the worlds best. Young is one of those players, he is also fighting for a place in the squad for the World Cup next year.
Will Moyes close the deal on the Barcelona ace, or are the strings still being pulled by a shadow left by the former manager.
