International Pension Plan

What is an International Pension Plan?

Many UK pensions cannot be paid overseas. They can only be paid into UK bank accounts.

Many retirees who move overseas, want more control over their pension plans.

You can move your UK pension to a more flexible plan, an offshore Self Invested Personal Pension (SIPP) or a Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Scheme (QROPS) for large pension pots.

An offshore SIPP is typically held in the Isle of Man or Mauritius. The plan can be set up in the currency of your choice, usually in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD or CHF (Swiss Francs).

A SIPP can invest in a wider range of investments such as property trusts, unit trusts, discretionary managed funds, ETFs, cryptocurrency and offshore managed funds.
